It’s hard to believe it’s over and we are already talking about next year’s event. We would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to our sponsors and supporters of this event. I hope that each of the teams had a great time pulling and we look forward to seeing you back next year.

This year’s event fund-raising total is in.  Thanks to our Sponsors, and the teams that participated the event raised $7037.69 for Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.  This surpassed our last year’s total of $4600.

There were eight teams that pulled for the Grand Champion Trophy.  The Grand Champions of this year’s event was Shawnee Police “A-Team.”  The combined time for this team to pull both vehicles 29.8 seconds.

First place went to Lenexa Fire Department with a combined time of 32.9 seconds.

Second place went to the Shawnee Police Department Investigations Team with a combined time of 37.2 seconds.
