Some describe Sarah Utech as a “fierce competitor with a caring heart.” Sarah is a true inspiration both on and off the field of competition. She competes with an intense desire to do her best and to win, but winning doesn’t consume her. Her burning desire is to have fun and to make sure that her opponents are having fun too. She exudes a level of positive sportsmanship that cannot be measured.
Sarah is the first to step up and go all out to help others. She demonstrates leadership and is encouraging to those around her.” Sarah is also a talented musician who likes to sing, play guitar, and write lyrics. Sarah puts the word Special into Special Olympics.
