It has been an entire day since the 2013 Heroes Pull finished. It’s hard to believe it’s over and we are already talking about next year’s event. We would like to send out a huge THANK YOU to our sponsors and supporters of this event. I hope that each of the teams had a great time pulling and we look forward to seeing you back next year.

This year’s event fund-raising total is in.  Thanks to our Sponsors, and the teams that participated the event raised $7037.69 for Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.  This surpassed our last year’s total of $4600.

There were eight teams that pulled for the Grand Champion Trophy.  The Grand Champions of this year’s event was Shawnee Police “A-Team.”  The combined time for this team to pull both vehicles 29.8 seconds.

First place went to Lenexa Fire Department with a combined time of 32.9 seconds.

Second place went to the Shawnee Police Department Investigations Team with a combined time of 37.2 seconds.
